I am fortunate to be a third generation Mendocino native raised on some of the most beautiful real estate in the world.
My father was a member of the California Dept. of Forestry providing me with knowledge of the surrounding areas as he was called upon to serve. I have worked with Geyser Peak Winery as an assistant to the Public Relations Director providing me with a deep appreciation of our incredible world class wineries. I was a resident trainer for Halali Arabians in Willits for several years and I still own horses of my own.
I began selling real estate in 1990 at The Sea Ranch and on the Mendocino coast. I was fortunate to find a beautiful lake front home on Soda Bay and completed the purchase in 2007. I look forward to providing my many years of service to a diversity of buyers and sellers.

Richard Derum
My younger years were rich in South American culture having grown up and going to school in South America where my father was a diplomat for the U.S. Government. I am therefore proficient in the Spanish language.
After spending time in many other areas of California, I settled with my family in Lake County where we have a ranch. I am knowledgeable in agriculture and ranching, wells, and all the other aspects that come with owning or developing a ranch.
